Metal lathe C2/300

Metal lathe with automatic feed for threading and longitudinal turning with feed. The C2 is a metal turning machine for machining plastics, non-ferrous metals (e.g. aluminum, AL alloys, brass, copper, gold, silver and other non-ferrous metals), gray cast iron and steel.

Application and description

Lead screw lathe with low-vibration cast frame for precise, low-vibration turning of plastics, non-ferrous metals, steel and stainless steel.

The powerful DC motor with continuously variable power electronics has a wide speed range up to from 100 to 2500 rpm in 2 gear stages. Thus, both non-ferrous metals as well as steel up to stainless steel can be processed with sufficient torque.

The standard lead screw makes it possible to manufacture threads with pitches from 0.4 to 2.0 mm. The lead screw also allows automatic feed in the longitudinal direction to be selected, thus achieving an optimum work result. The scale rings allow a precise reading accuracy of 0.02 mm. Thus, fits can be produced very accurately on the machine.

An 80 mm three-jaw chuck is supplied as standard. Due to the inner and outer stepped clamping jaws included in the scope of delivery, workpieces up to approx. 76 mm can be securely clamped and processed in the three-jaw chuck.

The C2 metal lathe is ideally suited for precise turning in the fields of model making, design, jewelry design and crafts.
