The lead screw lathe is equipped with a powerful, brushless (brushless) drive motor. The new motor technology ensures higher torque than comparable DC motors in all speed ranges. As a result, maximum torque and power are transferred to the workpiece, especially in the low speed ranges. This makes parting off and thread cutting much easier.

Low-noise drive thanks to belt drive and continuously variable speed electronics.

Another positive effect of the new drive technology is that thehigh torque in the low speed ranges eliminates the need for a changeover gearbox. This makes the machine significantly quieter in operation. In addition, fewer wearing parts are engaged, which makes the machine generally low-maintenance.

Metal feed gear for metric and inch thread cutting - left-hand thread cutting is also possible.

The standard covered lead screw makes it possible to produce threads with pitches from 0.4 to 3.0 mm.

A 125 mm three-jaw chuck with one set each of turning and drilling jaws is supplied as standard.

The lathe SC6 is ideally suited for the production of workpieces made of metal, non-ferrous metals and plastics up to a diameter of about 125 mm.
